Double L&S Farm is a small farm located in South Central Pennsylvania and owned by veterans Laura and Shane Becker with our two daughters. We raise and breed high-quality, MDGA-registered Mini-Alpine dairy goats. Our current focus is making and selling small-batch, artisan goat milk soap using the milk from our own herd, as well as handmade whipped body butter. We currently have a small flock of Katahdin sheep and lamb out every spring.
The main goals of our farm include creating natural skin care products for our community and beyond, as well as growing and raising the majority of our own food in a sustainable manner. We grow a garden every year, preserve fruits and vegetables with canning and freezing methods, process goat milk into cheese and kefir for our family, and utilize livestock guardian dogs for predator control. Our future goals include raising and selling high-quality, pastured meats to our local community and raising working Karakachan livestock guardian dogs.
